F&B Delivery Driver

About the role

To ensure the safe and sanitary delivery of all food products to all outlets in a timely manner. Items include the commissary, bakery, banquet, and other necessary products for the resort’s food production and sales.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are clean and sanitary before loading deliveries and at the end of each shift.
• Assist with the cleanliness of storage areas and put away received items between deliveries, as directed by commissary and bakery chefs.
• Verify that all food items for transport match the delivery order; contact the department chef and/or warehouse if discrepancies occur.
• Transport cold foods within 2 hours of loading to maintain temperature controls.
• Transport hot foods within 2 hours of loading to ensure proper temperature.
• Load and return washed pans/containers (e.g., buckets, Lexans, Cambros, sheet trays) back to the commissary.
• Perform all other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid Driver’s License and ServSafe certification.
• Frequent travel throughout the property as needed.

• Effective oral and written communication.
• Reading comprehension for work-related documents.
• Oral comprehension to understand spoken information and instructions.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., personal computers, word processing, internet browsers).
• Analytical and critical thinking to gather, organize, and evaluate information.
• Knowledge of guest and personal service principles.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally performs computer work and sits.
• Regularly walks, stands, and lifts up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Restaurant/Resort setting.

Performs duties within company policies and procedures. Analyzes problems, performs needs assessments, and exercises independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations affecting policies and procedures.
