As a Bartender, you’ll be part of this legacy while helping create unforgettable guest experiences during all Wine Train experiences. You’ll bring your knowledge, personality, and passion for hospitality to our historic train, creating memorable moments for guests while serving thoughtfully crafted beverages and showcasing the best of Napa Valley.

A day in the life: As a Bartender, you’ll bring flair, professionalism, and excellence to all of our Wine Train experiences, with a primary focus during our festive Santa Train season. You’ll be part of our premium guest service team, creating exceptional beverage experiences aboard our historic train. From classic cocktails and wine service to festive seasonal offerings, you’ll help set the tone for an unforgettable journey through Napa Valley.

Responsibilities

• Bring flair, professionalism, and excellence to all Wine Train experiences
• Create exceptional beverage experiences, including classic cocktails, wine service, and festive seasonal offerings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked bar
• Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide polished, engaging, attentive service
• Work closely with servers and fellow team members to ensure seamless service
• Multitask, think critically, and actively listen in a fast‑paced environment
• Maintain accuracy and composure while standing for long periods on a moving train
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and all applicable laws and company policies

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience preferred; strong restaurant or beverage‑service experience considered
• Evening and weekend availability (no exceptions)
• 1 year of bartending or restaurant/beverage‑service experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine preferred
• Wine knowledge and familiarity with Napa Valley history strongly preferred
• Ability to provide polished, engaging, and attentive guest service
• Ability to multitask, think critically, and actively listen
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain accuracy and composure in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and safely work in a moving train environment
• Positive, adaptable, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to speak and understand English

Pay

Salary: $16.90 – $28.00 (including gratuity)
