F-35 Depot Activations Deputy Project Manager- Level 2

About the role

This position resides on the F-35 Depot Activations team, assisting the coordinator, facilitator, and integrator for Air Vehicle Depot site activations and expansions. The selected candidate will develop and execute activations plans that address all integrated product support elements.

Responsibilities

The individual in this position will perform tasks including Action Item tracking, Site Readiness Review documentation management, schedule coordination, and risk management. Additional tasks include requirements definition, performing depot site surveys and gap analysis, developing and executing Depot Maintenance Activation Plans, reviewing/participating in formal studies, supporting depot source of repair and partnering processes, and hosting of frequent reviews to resolve both technical and non-technical issues associated with areas of responsibilities.

Requirements

• Background or familiarity in project management, program management, or logistics
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, and Project)
• Experience in Supply Chain management, Sustainment, maintenance management, operations, forecasting, facilities planning, and/or scheduling
• Must be a US citizen
• Current passport required due to potential international travel

Skills

• Experience with the integrated product support elements, plan development, and execution
• Working knowledge and experience with Sustainment processes and supporting organizations
• Experience managing multiple complex tasks and situations with little or no direction
• Experience with repair processes, equipment, facility requirements, and business procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to address diverse audiences

Schedule

This position will involve part-time remote telework, with the employee working part of their schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
