F-15 Flight Line Production Superintendent - Qatar
About the role
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an F-15 Flight Line Production Superintendent to assist in our maintenance efforts in Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. This is a long-term assignment to Qatar for a minimum of 2 years. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements is required; if accompanied, family members must also meet these requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of multiple flightline and/or back-shops, maintaining effective communication with other departments, and ensuring that all production processes align with the program's requirements and objectives
- Oversee flightline and/or back-shop production, coordinate support, and develop priorities in conjunction with flightline Production Superintendents and Maintenance Operations Control (MOC)
- Establish and track aircraft Estimated Time In Commission (ETIC)
- Inform MOC of the maintenance effort and coordinate with MOC, Flightline Expediters, and other sections/units/squadrons for support
- Participate in developing and executing the weekly and monthly flying and maintenance schedules/plans
- Sign the aircraft Exceptional Release (ER) in accordance with TO 00-20-1
- Provide oversight and direction for all flightline and/or back-shop related maintenance activities, including coordination of maintenance repair priorities and scheduled maintenance activities with PS&D
- Plan and organize production schedules, assess project and resource requirements, and determine quality control standards
- Act as Boeing-to-Customer interface and focal point; coordinate routinely with critical third-party entities, U.S. Government Representatives, and the Qatari Emiri Air Force Customer
- Enforce safety regulations and quality standards, troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions
- Lead daily production meetings to review progress and address issues
- Coordinate with the engineering team when required for problem resolution
- Develop and implement production plans that optimize resource utilization and minimize costs
- Ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained and operational
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to validate regular inspections and audits
- Coordinate with the team to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Prepare daily reports on team priorities, taskings, and production for senior management
- Promote Boeing behaviors and a Seek, Speak, & Listen Culture among subordinates
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience with military aircraft maintenance and/or management
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Ability to obtain a local driver's license
- Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime; some positions may involve rotating shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on military fighter platforms (F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22)
- Experience with aircraft systems including avionics, electrical, engines, flight controls, egress, structures, hydraulics, fuel, and/or integrated vehicle management systems
