About the role

EY-Parthenon’s unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions, and corporate finance delivers real-world value. The Deal Management – Financial Services – Insurance practice works on the most complex and high-profile global transactions in the financial services sector. You will prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, and advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions, and people.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage projects supporting our client service team in developing and executing strategies for transactions.
  • Develop experience across a range of different types of engagements including pre and post-deal phases.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in a consulting environment working with insurance clients, including property and casualty, life and annuity, and/or brokerage.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • A proven record of excellence in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.
  • Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
  • Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
