Responsibilities
- Advising companies regarding strategic and corporate finance alternatives and driving the execution of M&A transactions.
- Preparing pitch books, descriptive information memoranda, and related materials for M&A and capital raising mandates.
- Performing extensive financial analysis, valuation analysis, and pro forma financial modeling.
- Identifying key issues and potential areas of valuation and transaction risk within engagements.
- Conducting in-depth market-sector and company-specific research.
- Supporting business development initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree.
- At least 1 year of prior experience in investment banking or similar M&A execution experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel to develop financial models, knowledge of pivot tables, and using Excel for in-depth modeling.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to exercise sound independent judgment.
- Efficient use of research databases, and technical ability to analyze data.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Reside in or be at a commutable distance to your office location.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
- Ideal qualifications include existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing), a proven record of excellence in investment banking with a focus on M&A transactions, experience in or interest in the Industrials sector, and knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100,000 to $125,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100,000 to $125,000.
Schedule
We expect most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
