Responsibilities
- Lead data analytics projects to advise clients on financial and commercial issues, M&A transactions, and value creation opportunities for corporate clients and private equity portfolio companies.
- Guide teams in executing descriptive and predictive analytics, transforming data into actionable insights.
- Contribute to practice development and business growth through client meetings, presentations, and new business pursuits.
- Support the career development of junior staff through mentorship.
- Drive innovation by applying advanced analytical techniques and staying updated on sector trends.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic insights and solutions.
Skills and attributes for success
- Project Management: Manage cross-functional project teams for successful execution.
- Commercially Driven: Apply strong business acumen coupled with technical knowledge/skills in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in tools like Alteryx, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI and Excel. Proficiency in SQL and Python. Further, experience and interest to leverage cutting-edge technologies, including AI, to drive thoughtful and thought-provoking business outcomes.
- Business Development: Assist in client acquisition and practice growth efforts.
- People Development: Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Innovation: Leverage cutting-edge data analytics techniques to deliver insights.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with clients, offering data-driven recommendations.
To qualify for the role
- A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data wrangling, transformation, and analysis (both descriptive and predictive).
- Proficiency in relational databases and data models.
- Experience in diverse industries (e.g., TMT, Healthcare, Retail) and functional areas (e.g., corporate finance, supply chain).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to varied audiences.

What we offer you
- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120,400 to $220,700. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $144,500 to $250,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
