Extrusion Press Cell Production - D Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently to maximize output while meeting customer quality requirements.
• Support the company’s key corporate values, objectives, and strategies.
• Cross-train in multiple department functions to enhance flexibility and operational knowledge.
• Understand and verify manufacturing orders to identify internal and customer specifications.
• Follow all department key measures and quality practices accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area using the 5S system (standardize, sustain, sort, set in order, and shine).
• Meet delivery schedules to ensure customer service and satisfaction.
• Perform additional related assignments, including special projects, in a professional and cooperative manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and utilize proper inspection equipment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read die drawings, inspect parts, and assess surface finish per customer specifications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to participate in additional training (e.g., Extrusion 101) and assist with preventive maintenance.

Pay

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 – $28.60, with an additional $5.00 per hour shift differential. Actual base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
