Extrusion Maintenance Technician II 1st shift

About the role

Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to, supporting manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
• Perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance Tasks following instructions
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance
• Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc
• Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
• Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians
