Extrusion Machine Operator/Technician

About the role

As the Extrusion Operator, you will operate assigned extruders to produce profiles according to established standards. This includes set-up and start-up of production machines, process inspection, and documentation of profiles.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruders to produce profiles according to established standards
• Set up and start up production machines
• Perform process inspection and documentation of profiles
• Prepare QA samples properly
• Package profiles according to VEKA standards
• Inspect profiles using scales, tape measures, and other tools

Requirements

• Previous experience as a machine operator or other mechanical experience preferred
• Good mechanical ability and judgment

Pay

Starting salary: From $21.00 per hour plus shift differential.
