Extruder Operator Assistant
Position Description
Title: Cast Line Assistant
Department: Operations
Immediate Supervisor: Manufacturing Supervisor
Status: Hourly Non-Exempt
Position Purpose
Aids in the safe, controlled start-up and operation of the cast line extruder and process equipment, including starting the machine, engaging the feed, observing the operation, and managing changeover process.
Essential Skills And Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required.
- Ability to regularly lift large lightweight items above head required.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
