Summary of Job Duties

The successful candidate will maintain and ensure the safety of the pool area and its patrons. Must be able to implement policies and procedures in order to maintain an appropriate level of control, fairness and safety. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications Required

• Basic ability to swim 500 yards;
• Basic ability to tread water;
• Basic ability to dive down 15 feet.

Preferred Education And/or Experience

• CPR Certification;
• Lifeguard Certification;
• First Aid & AED Certification.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage aquatics facility;
• Attend departmental meetings;
• Ensure the safety of participants;
• Represent the Donaghey Student Center in an exemplary manner.

Additional Information

• Salary Information: $15.00 per hour
