About the role

Provide speech/language services to eligible students district-wide, as outlined in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), which may affect the student's adjustment and ability to make appropriate use of the educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students as outlined in their IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Assess students' progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Participate in team meetings and IEP reviews to support student needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Pathology or related field.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License.
• Valid Nevada Educator License.

Qualifications

• Must complete a thorough background check.
• Must pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques.
