  • Build and maintain relationships with top-tier financial, business, and trade media to drive impactful coverage and strengthen the firm's external profile.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business stakeholders to ensure all external communications adhere to firm policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate subject matter experts and senior executives through interviews, speaking engagements, conferences, awards programs, and other external platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and competitive activity to identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Measure and report on communication outcomes and media impact, leveraging data and analytics to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with regional and global communications colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated execution across markets and lines of business.
  • Support the development and execution of executive visibility programs, including reporter roundtables, editorial board meetings, broadcast appearances, and profile-building initiatives.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize high-volume, high-priority initiatives in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to partner effectively with direct management, team members, and clients, and to work well with employees at all levels.
  • Commitment to maintaining the firm's high standards related to risk, compliance, and the Code of Conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting capital markets, macroeconomic, research, payments, securities services, or investment banking businesses.
  • Experience working within a large, highly matrixed organization.
