About the Role

The External and Digital Communications Coordinator supports the communications team in telling CoxHealth’s story, protecting its brand, and engaging the community.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with the External and Digital Communications Manager to execute media relations activities.
• Crafts compelling content across digital and traditional channels.
• Manages the organization’s corporate social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, and real-time community engagement.
• Tracks and reports media activity.
• Coordinates awards and recognitions.
• Affords assistance with strategic storytelling initiatives that highlight CoxHealth’s mission and priorities.
• Shares on-call media duties with other members of the Corporate Communications team.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications or marketing.
• Experience: Two years of experience in a related field preferred.
