About the role

Kick-start your career in audiology with hands-on experience and unparalleled mentorship. This externship provides practical training in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education. Clinics may also offer experience in pediatric and vestibular testing.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on learning and mentorship from audiologists from day one.
• Participate in virtual peer interactions with externs nationwide to build a supportive network and enhance clinical skills.
• Engage in continuous growth through monthly manufacturer-led workshops and one-on-one training sessions.
• Contribute to community impact through volunteer initiatives and community engagement.
• Utilize cutting-edge hearing technology from leading manufacturers, including computer-based audiometers, real ear verification, and test box measures.
• Perform daily tasks such as appointment documentation, lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments.
• Order and service hearing aids, take earmold impressions, and conduct follow-up calls with patients.
• Participate in clinic and company meetings.
• Take on any task beneficial to your clinic and learning experience.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in an AuD (Doctor of Audiology) program.
