Exterior Signage Project Manager, Facilities, Lakeland

About the Role

Manage the exterior signage program for Publix new store, remodel, and special projects across prototypical, large, multi-use, and sometimes multi-level developments. Oversee a signage program budget of approximately $4M covering signage design, fabrication, repair installation, replacements, and new installations throughout Publix.

Responsibilities

• Supplier management activities throughout the project
• Project management, including scope development
• Monitoring and communicating project status
• Reporting on related KPIs
• Maintenance, repair, and ad-hoc signage tasks

Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• 2 years supplier management experience and 2 years project management experience
• Must be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of project management methodology
• Ability to effectively resolve conflicts between differing parties
• Knowledge of contract administration procedures, legal terminology, and external service supplier selection process

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, Architecture, Graphic Design, or Engineering related field or equivalent experience
• 5 years supplier management experience, 5 years exterior signage experience, and 5 years project management experience
• 2 years’ experience in supermarket signage or store planning
• Knowledge of division/department/sub-department organizational structure
• Knowledge of construction drawings, codes, laws, regulations, and ordinances relating to design and design technologies for exterior signage
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Access
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu
