Exterior Patrol Security Officer

About the role

Utility Security Officer position involves providing security and safety at client sites through observation, reporting, and patrols while delivering customer service.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Conduct exterior foot patrols and monitor premises, including various locations.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
• Perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may include climbing stairs, walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Valid driver certification.
• Ability to perform exterior foot patrols.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers.
