Responsibilities

• Install exterior doors into newly constructed houses or buildings according to company standards and specifications.
• Use Google Maps to navigate to job locations.
• Utilize Outlook and Excel to write concise, accurate emails and attach pictures.
• Identify and proactively address job site hazards.
• Verify correct doors, rough openings, and swings.
• Apply latest building codes, industry standards, and company policies in daily work.
• Stay knowledgeable of OSHA and BFS safety regulations (e.g., wearing hard hats, steel-toe work boots, fall prevention requirements).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Own and maintain a reliable vehicle for traveling to and from job sites.
• Ability to plan and adhere to a schedule.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per company policy.
• Own and maintain personal tools, work bags, and a ladder (all install materials will be provided).
• Previous experience in construction/installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Skills

• Problem-solving on the fly.
• Physical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (50–100 pounds).
• Experience with hand tools (drills, levels, saws, measuring tape, etc.).

Work Environment

The role involves frequent standing, gripping, handling, and reaching, as well as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Employees are routinely exposed to outdoor weather conditions, occasional high places, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels. The position requires:
