About the role
Satair is seeking an Extended Warehouse Management (SAP) Analyst to join our SAP Support Team in Dulles, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide SME expertise in the areas of inbound and outbound processes, warehouse monitoring, and resource management within SAP EWM, incl. contribution to successful integration with other SAP S4 HANA modules and managing the daily support of the AMS partner's deliveries.
- Participate as project lead in SAP application related projects, especially EWM (and Autostore), incl. coordination with relevant IT teams and AMS partner.
- Define and set up new functionality in Satair’s SAP EWM application coordinating with process owners and aligning with the central SAP Center of Excellence.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for Trainers / end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new SAP EWM system.
- Observe current market trends and technologies, proposing those trends to the business that add value to logistics solutions.
Requirements
- Equipped with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar discipline, paired with 6+ years of progressive working experience with direct experience within EWM.
- Looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:
- 6+ years of working experience
- 4+ years of experience directly related to EWM(SAP)
- SAP EWM Certification (Required)
- Solid knowledge of other SAP modules in SAP S4HANA like WM and MM.
- Integration of EWM with SD module.
- Knowledge of Autostore or similar Warehouse technologies.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Onsite or remote: 80 % Onsite - 20% remote
- Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.
- Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.
- Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
- Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
- Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
- Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
- Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
- Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.
- Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
- Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.
- Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
- Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
- Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site.
- Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
- Able to work in US without current or future need for visa sponsorship.

Pay
$120,000.00 - 140,000.00/year
