Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a dedicated teaching team to create a warm, enriching, and supportive environment.
• Support extended day classes and operations from 3:30–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Manage extended-care activities and daily operations to ensure a safe and nurturing experience for every child.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old.
• At least six months of experience at a licensed early childhood education center (preferred).
• Must pass a background check.
• Must complete CPR and First Aid training within 90 days (if not already certified).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Background in education, curriculum development, or after-school programming is welcome; familiarity with business or accounting software is a plus for other roles.

Pay

Starting pay: $19.00 per hour based on experience and education, with opportunities for annual merit increases. Salaried pay with guaranteed hours.

Schedule

No nights or weekends—enjoy a set schedule. Extended day hours: 3:30–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Micah Children’s Academy, located on a beautiful and expansive property, serves children ages six weeks through Pre‑K in a Jewish values‑based, Reggio Emilia‑inspired environment.
