Extended Day Aide

TITLE OF POSITION: Extended Day Aide Qualifications Mature High School/College Student1-2 years working with children REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal Position Summary The Extended Day Aide assists in maintaining and implementing all aspects of operating the program. STATUS: Monday through Friday 3:15-5:30pm $20 per hour Performance Responsibilities Helps prepare program materials; assists in the daily clean-up of program projects.Assists in preparing routine paperwork.Attends instructional sessions as directed.Maintains a positive relationship with parents, children and other staff.Utilizes effective and appropriate behavioral management techniques.Assists in supervising and maintaining control of students and implementing planned recreational and educational activities.Maintains a safe physical environment.Performs all other responsibilities as assigned.
