Expression of interest- Commercial Cleaner- Mt Piper/Lithgow

We are seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking cleaners to join our team in Lithgow/Mt Piper for a commercial cleaning outage contract commencing September 2026.

About the role

We are looking for cleaners to perform various cleaning duties within our Outage contract at Mt Piper. Equipment and full training will be provided. As a Cleaner with Menzies, you will play an important role in maintaining safe, clean, and hygienic facilities for Energy Australia Mt Piper personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

• General commercial cleaning
• Vacuuming, mopping, and floor care
• Cleaning offices, amenities, and common areas
• Waste removal and recycling
• Sanitisation and infection control cleaning
• Maintaining presentation standards and site cleanliness

Requirements

• Must have a White Card
• Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a police check as well as random drug and alcohol tests
• Applicants who are not Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents must provide proof of entitlement to work, including any restrictions on hours of work
• Reliable and punctual
• Customer-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically capable of undertaking cleaning duties
• Committed to high standards of service
• Available to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Able to complete contract-specific security clearance

Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. A current driver's licence and reliable transport will be highly regarded.

Schedule

Casual positions are available, generally Monday to Friday (day/night shifts), with some weekend work required. Applicants should indicate their availability and preference for casual work, including days and hours they are available.
