BakerHicks is seeking Civil & Structural professionals at all levels to join our teams delivering complex and technically challenging projects across the UK. Responsibilities
- Deliver civil and structural engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects
- Produce and review design calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop integrated engineering solutions
- Engage with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support project delivery, technical assurance, and quality management processes
- Contribute to safe, sustainable, and innovative engineering solutions
Requirements
- Experience in Civil and/or Structural Engineering within consultancy, contractor, or client-side environments
- Strong technical knowledge and design experience
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practice
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Progress towards, or achievement of, professional membership such as ICE or IStructE is advantageous
Many positions are subject to security clearance or assurance levels. The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance, which may include additional nationality or residency criteria due to client or national security obligations.
