Express Service Technician

Responsibilities

- Document and perform work as outlined on repair order - Complete maintenance and repairs requested for guest vehicles - Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts - Test-drive vehicles (if warranted), and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment - Communicate with Service Advisors to keep guests well-informed if additional services are recommended or required

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - Experience working in an automotive shop - General mechanical skills and manual dexterity - Valid driver’s license and good driving record - Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds several times during each shift - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Ability to type and utilize functions of a computer and various operating programs
