Exposure Management Analyst

Position Overview

Southern Company is seeking a passionate and experienced Exposure Management Analyst to join our Cybersecurity organization. This is a technical, hands-on role that requires the ability to assess exposures, analyze risks, and advise strategies to mitigate exposure. This role will support day-to-day continuous threat and exposure management operations focused on identifying and escalating exposed risks.

Responsibilities

• Assess exposures and analyze risks
• Advise strategies to mitigate exposure
• Support day-to-day continuous threat and exposure management operations
• Identify and escalate exposed risks
• Support implementation of security technologies and controls
• Improve defensive posture
• Implement processes in support of investigations
• Develop detection capabilities

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity or related field
• Ability to assess exposures and analyze risks
• Knowledge of risk mitigation strategies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
