Export Packer

The Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Export Packer to join our team. You’ll prepare goods for international shipping, including wrapping, crating, securing, and documenting, to meet client requirements and global standards. The role involves travel across the UK (and occasionally abroad) with some overnight stays. You should understand cargo securing (including centre of gravity/weight distribution) and be comfortable working on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack, wrap, crate, and secure goods for international shipment
• Apply safe load-securing practices (centre of gravity, weight distribution)
• Use hand/power tools and equipment safely
• Complete packing lists and basic shipping paperwork
• Travel to client sites; work independently or as part of a team
• Load/unload and support on-site jobs

Requirements

• Familiarity with cargo security and packing methods
• Able to work away from home (incl. overnight stays)
• Comfortable with manual work
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving
• Export packing or exhibition/events experience (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
