About the role
Join us at Craft & Crew Hospitality as a Part-Time Expo/Host at our lively bar and restaurant in St. Louis Park! This role combines two dynamic positions—hosting and expo—both integral in providing a positive guest experience.
As the first face guests see, you’ll set the tone for their dining experience by greeting them, managing seating, and ensuring their visit is fantastic. In the expo role, your attention to detail and organization skills will ensure quality dishes reach our guests every time.
1 year of restaurant experience and weekend availability are required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth and charisma, making them feel at home.
- Manage reservations, estimate wait times, and escort guests to their tables.
- Use occupancy software (e.g., OpenTable) to track seating availability and provide guests with menu details and server introductions.
- Ensure dishes leave the kitchen looking picture-perfect, including garnishing plates and packaging carryout orders with precision.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to orchestrate seamless food delivery while upholding quality and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- 1 year of restaurant experience.
- Weekend availability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
Pay
$14.00/hour plus tips (typically an additional $7–$13/hour).
