About the role

Duties include general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work. The role projects a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet clients and visitors.
  • Answer telephones and transfer calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems.
  • Sign for and distribute UPS/FedEx/Airborne packages.
  • Schedule or coordinate meetings, interviews, events, and other similar activities.
  • Support staff in assigned project-based work in a team-oriented environment or independently.
  • Utilize organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills to perform work efficiently and effectively.
  • Research, price, and purchase office supplies as required.
  • Maintain customer information.
  • Order uniforms and invoice employees.
  • Drive and run local errands as requested.
  • Cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions.
  • Pick up or drop off local products or materials by request.
  • Follow GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years or more of clerical-related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training related to GROWMARK’s policies, procedures, and position requirements.
