Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver training workshops on social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and financial management for social enterprises.
  • Guide participants on developing sustainable business models that address social challenges.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to aspiring social entrepreneurs, particularly those involved in humanitarian and relief projects.
  • Facilitate interactive learning experiences that encourage innovation, problem-solving, and business planning for social enterprises.
  • Develop customized training materials, case studies, and real-world examples to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Stay updated on trends in social entrepreneurship, investment strategies, and humanitarian development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in financial management, investment, or business development.
  • Proven experience working on humanitarian or relief projects with a focus on social entrepreneurship.
  • Strong knowledge of impact investing, venture philanthropy, and sustainable development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and support individuals and teams in building social enterprises.
  • Passion for creating positive social impact through entrepreneurship.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in international development or nonprofit sectors.
  • Familiarity with business modeling tools like Lean Canvas, Business Model Canvas, or similar frameworks.
  • Previous experience in coaching or training roles, particularly in diverse cultural settings.
  • Knowledge of sustainable finance and innovative funding mechanisms for social impact ventures.
