Expert Opportunity - Director of Public Policy ($70/hr, up to $1,400/week)

About This Opportunity

We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced directors of public policy who can help train their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows
• Develop policy briefing memos for agency leadership
• Prepare interagency coordination and program status reports
• Summarize rulemaking public comment responses
• Create grant compliance packages and reporting narratives
• Handle constituent correspondence and case management logs
• Draft appropriations request narratives for agency budgets

Qualifications

• 5+ years working within government agencies or public administration
• Direct ownership of policy briefing memos and grant compliance packages
• Strong command of public-sector writing conventions
• Knowledge of rulemaking public comment procedure
• Experience with appropriations request narratives
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
