Expert Digital Media Forensics Team Support - USACIC

Responsibilities

• Support CI and CT investigations
• Research, design, deploy, and lead training events
• Evaluate emerging forensic technologies
• Provide operational security assessments
• Support cyber forensic and cyber security tasks
• Combine computer science with forensic skills to recover data
• Use forensic tools and investigative methods to find specific electronic data
• Develop detailed notes on processes undertaken and develop intelligence-based reporting
• Test and evaluate emerging trends in digital forensics software and hardware
• Assist in developing new and innovative forensic processes and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum education and years of experience requirements
• At least 2 years of host based forensic experience and must have DoD Certified Digital Forensic Examiner (DFE)
• Certification in digital forensic areas such as CFCE, GCFE, or EnCase Certified Examiner
• 2 years of mobile device forensics experience
• Prior certification through ISFCE or IACIS preferred
