About the role

We’re seeking an Expert Designer, NSW Modern Footwear Product Design Create to push the boundaries of sport and culture. Responsibilities

  • Create footwear that fuses worlds, ensuring each design is both visionary and commercially viable.
  • Shape every detail, construction, form, fit, performance, while considering cost, sustainability, and manufacturability.
  • Bring fresh ideas to life from brief to market.
  • Align visions, refine concepts, and lead conversations that push boundaries.
  • Generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project.
  • Present your work effectively using tools like Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products preferred.
  • Knowledge of form, color, materials, human factors, related to elevating the consumer experience.
  • Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives.
  • Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills.
  • Must be able to build accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs).
  • Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus.
  • 3D design programs experience is a plus.
  • Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Positive personality and energy.
  • Contribute and align to shared team culture and behaviors.
  • Catalyst to make connections with other Design groups.
  • Lead + drive partnerships beyond the Design function (Marketing, Engineering, Development, etc.).
  • Motivated and hardworking about bringing others along.
