Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and patient advocacy
• Assist with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Support with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
• Educate clients and support strong client relationships
• Collaborate closely with a team that values communication and teamwork

Requirements

• 2+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of New Mexico (preferred)
• Proficiency in the following skills (preferred):
  • Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
  • Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Dental prophylaxis and radiography
  • Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
  • Radiology positioning and safety protocols

We provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats, as well as minor exotics including birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. Our services include preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and cold laser therapy to support patient recovery and comfort. Pay
