What We Ask of You

Being a tower climber can be a very rewarding and worthwhile career, but it takes a unique skillset and even more of a unique personality.

• You are physically able to climb to heights in excess of 300 feet daily
• You can work in all weather conditions year-round
• You have some construction and/or electrical experience
• You enjoy working with your hands
• You enjoy constant travel and willing to live life on the road – 6‑week travel rotations followed by a 7‑10 day break (travel expenses covered)

Job Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Install, replace, and repair antenna system equipment
• Distribute, pick up, and organize tools and materials
• Install, modify, and mount platforms
• Identify and fix problems using test equipment
• Work as part of a team
• Perform tower structure inspections
• Climb and work on communications towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment and perform tower maintenance under close supervision
• Use and care for hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Read site plans and tower drawings
• Understand hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment
