Experienced Toyota Automotive Service Technician
About the role
Kalispell Toyota is seeking an Experienced Toyota Service Technician to join their growing team at their new state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and enjoy a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and inspect guest concerns per repair order notes
- Communicate with guests and team leads to determine nature of mechanical problems through all means; i.e. inspections, test drives, advisor or customer statements
- Perform any/all needed repairs and work as outlined on repair orders from team leads with efficiency & accuracy
- Collaborate with all service and parts teams to understand needs & provide expert service and advice for guests and dealership vehicles
- Take initiative to work with service/shop teammates and manufacturer to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the process
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed
- Keep up-to-date with the latest mechanical techniques through ongoing training and professional development
- Provide excellent customer service to dealership teammates and dealership guests
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Requirements
- Obtain and/or maintain ASE Certification
- High school diploma, GED or vocational training OR job-related course work required completed
- Teamwork approach and can-do attitude
- Your own repair tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment independently, working with multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Able to interpret installation instructions, diagrams and schematics to ensure accuracy and precision
- Strong technical skills and intense desire to learn
- Communication skills and a professional demeanor as there may be times when guests need instruction and information
- Sense of humor and motivation to learn and succeed with a team
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service and a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training. ASE certification is preferred.

Pay
$60-100,000 annually DOE
