Experienced Swim Instructor

About the role

The East YMCA is seeking dedicated and caring swim instructors to provide safe and motivating aquatic instruction.

Responsibilities

- Facilitate socialization, participation, and interaction of all participants in a fun and positive environment. - Must be 16 years of age. - Strong swim skills and basic knowledge of all swim strokes: front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, sidestroke, elementary backstroke, and butterfly. - Must have experience teaching swim lessons. - Current Lifeguard certification and YMCA Swim Instructor certification or equivalent preferred (not required).

Pay

Starting wage of $18-$21.50 per hour depending on experience and certifications.
