Spray Application
The Spray Technician is responsible for applying chemicals as directed.
Chemical Safety
Employees must demonstrate an awareness of and commitment to chemical safety.
Work Tasks
- Follow through on assigned tasks
- Follow instructions accurately
Education and Experience
- Has or can obtain a QAL
- Basic knowledge of plant material
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- At least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles)
- Strong stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to safely operate landscaping equipment
- Able to bend, stop and twist continuously throughout the day and perform manual labor using a variety of hand tools
- Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Required to have a valid driver’s license and meet company standards as it relates motor vehicle performance
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed
- Able to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur
Work Environment
- Outdoor/indoor work in moderate to extreme weather conditions
- Extended periods of loud noise
- Exposure to allergens, insects, and reptiles
