This is an excellent opportunity for an independent installer, experienced production specialist, or skilled tradesperson looking for consistent project-based work with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position as our workload and relationship grow. You will help produce, finish, assemble, and install custom signs and graphics for local businesses, schools, organizations, property managers, and commercial clients. Our projects vary from day to day, so we need someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and knows how to get the job done correctly and safely. What You’ll Be Doing Depending on your experience and the needs of each project, your work may include: Installing interior and exterior signs, dimensional lettering, wall graphics, window graphics, banners, panels, and related visual productsApplying vinyl and printed graphics to a variety of substratesMeasuring, cutting, trimming, mounting, laminating, assembling, and finishing sign productsInstalling graphics on walls, windows, floors, vehicles, and other surfacesUsing hand tools, power tools, ladders, and mechanical lifts when properly trained or certifiedReviewing work orders, measurements, site conditions, and installation requirements before beginningConducting site surveys and identifying potential installation challengesLoading, transporting, and protecting completed signs and installation materialsMaintaining a clean, safe, and organized work areaTaking completion photos and communicating clearly about project statusRepresenting FASTSIGNS professionally while working at customer locations You May Be a Great Fit If You Have professional sign production or installation experienceHave experience in construction, vinyl application, carpentry, fabrication, painting, electrical work, vehicle wraps, or another related skilled tradeCan read measurements accurately and follow detailed work ordersAre comfortable using common hand and power toolsHave strong attention to detail and care about the appearance of the finished productCan assess a jobsite and solve problems without needing constant supervisionShow up on time, communicate clearly, and follow through on commitmentsWork safely and professionally around customers, coworkers, and active jobsitesAre comfortable working indoors and outdoors in Florida conditionsCan safely lift and carry materials weighing up to approximately 50 poundsAre comfortable working from ladders or lifts when a project requires it Preferred Qualifications Previous sign-shop, wide-format printing, or installation experienceVinyl application experienceExperience installing dimensional letters, wall graphics, window graphics, post-and-panel signs, or building signageExperience with vehicle graphics or wrapsOSHA, aerial-lift, electrical, or related safety certificationsValid driver’s license and a clean, insurable driving recordReliable transportationYour own basic installation tools and appropriate business insurance, if working as an independent contractor Sign-industry experience is strongly preferred, but we are also willing to consider a highly dependable candidate with strong construction, fabrication, carpentry, vinyl, or installation experience. Scheduling may vary depending on installation dates, production needs, customer requirements, and project volume. Some early-morning, evening, or weekend work may occasionally be available. Compensation will be competitive and based on experience, capabilities, tools/equipment provided, and the scope of each project. Rates and expectations will be agreed upon before work begins.
