About the role

Palm Aire Country Club is a private, member-owned country club on the Manatee/Sarasota county line where hospitality is personal. Members are familiar faces, the team knows what great service looks like, and dining is about creating an experience, not flipping tables as fast as possible. We’re looking for experienced Servers who know how to read a table, anticipate what a guest needs and deliver polished service without making it feel stuffy. Palm Aire is a place where tradition still matters, but we’re always looking for ways to make the member and employee experience better. Responsibilities

• Manage tables from greeting through departure.
• Be knowledgeable or eager to learn about menus, specials and wine pairings.
• Provide attentive service without hovering.
• Genuinely enjoy hospitality and bring charm and consistency to every guest experience.
• Notice details such as empty glasses, remember member preferences (e.g., extra lemon), and understand that little things matter.
• Build relationships with members by learning their names and favorites.

Requirements

• Previous serving experience required.
• Country club, resort, hotel or upscale dining experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work lunch, dinner, weekend and banquet shifts as scheduled.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food, beverage and wine service preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and meet the physical requirements of the position.
