About the role

Securitas is hiring an Experienced Security Guard for its Hillsboro, Oregon location. The position is full‑time with various shift options.

Responsibilities

• Patrol client premises, control access and assist employees and visitors.
• Use de‑escalation techniques and respond to emergencies under site procedures.
• Report incidents, hazards and suspicious activity accurately.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, or ability to complete a GED program within six months.
• Successful completion of the employer’s background investigation and drug screening.

Skills

• Computer skills with clear communication.
• Ability to remain alert and use sound judgment.
• Advanced computer skills and Microsoft software proficiency.
• Prior security experience is preferred.

Pay

$24.90–$26.90 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday 11 p.m.–7 a.m.
• Monday–Thursday 11 p.m.–7 a.m.
• Saturday–Sunday 3–11 p.m. plus Monday–Tuesday 11 p.m.–7 a.m.
