Sales Agronomist Responsibilities

  • Make fertilizer, chemical and seed recommendations to growers and farmers
  • Maintain current business and facilitate new positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote repeat business
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
  • Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis
  • Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
  • Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology

Sales Agronomist Qualifications

  • 3+ years of agronomy sales related experience
  • Must be driven, self-motivated, and have a proven track record of job stability
  • Well established relationships with growers in the region or a book of business
  • A degree in Agriculture
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Have a valid U.S. driver's license
  • Able to provide professional references
  • Must currently reside within 100 miles of Central Florida (out of area candidates will not be considered)
