Sales Agronomist Responsibilities
- Make fertilizer, chemical and seed recommendations to growers and farmers
- Maintain current business and facilitate new positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote repeat business
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
- Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis
- Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
- Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology
Sales Agronomist Qualifications
- 3+ years of agronomy sales related experience
- Must be driven, self-motivated, and have a proven track record of job stability
- Well established relationships with growers in the region or a book of business
- A degree in Agriculture
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Have a valid U.S. driver's license
- Able to provide professional references
- Must currently reside within 100 miles of Central Florida (out of area candidates will not be considered)
Pay
