Michael & Son Services, serving homeowners since 1976, is seeking experienced Residential Service Electricians in the Raleigh, NC area. The position focuses on diagnosing and repairing electrical problems in occupied homes, providing clear explanations to homeowners, and delivering quality repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

• Run residential service calls independently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems in occupied homes.
• Perform repairs, replacements, upgrades, and installations.
• Clearly explain problems and solutions to homeowners.
• Recommend appropriate solutions based on the customer's actual needs.
• Complete work safely, professionally, and to company standards.
• Use a tablet and digital dispatching system to manage calls and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands‑on residential electrical service experience.
• Experience running residential service calls.
• Strong residential troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Comfortable working independently in customers' homes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with homeowners and explain electrical problems in an understandable way.
• Strong customer service skills and professional appearance.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Will stand out with a journeyman, master, or other electrical license/certification.
• Experience in a performance‑driven service environment.
• Familiarity with digital dispatching or paperless documentation.
