About the role
The role involves providing reservoir engineering technical expertise to Conventional Oil & Gas development. You will work with multi-discipline teams to support optimal asset development, reservoir management, and site screening.
Responsibilities
- Performing reservoir modeling and simulation to support conventional and/or deepwater developments
- Conducting reservoir depletion planning and field development planning
- Performing reserves assessments and identifying production or injection optimization opportunities
- Planning, evaluating, and executing appraisal and field development/drill well programs
- Identifying key reservoir uncertainties and providing recommendations to mitigate risks
- Improving reservoir description through fluid analysis, core evaluation, well testing interpretation, and production performance analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required - preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical; Advanced Degrees (Master’s / PhD) also welcome
- Minimum of 8 and maximum of 20 years of industry experience in Conventional Reservoir Engineering
- Reservoir simulation experience in new developments and/or producing assets (including constructing, updating and history matching models)
- INTERSECT / Eclipse Reservoir Simulation experience
- Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results while working in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced business environment. Demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills are essential
- Previous experience in reservoir analytical performance prediction, asset development and depletion planning, reserves assessment, reservoir surveillance & optimization, volumes forecasting, economic analysis and data management
