About the role

The Venous Access Team at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for vascular access.

Responsibilities

  • Placement and care of various venous access devices
  • Advising on the most appropriate vascular access options
  • Managing devices such as temporary lines, PICC lines, tunneled catheters, and indwelling chest ports
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ clinical profiles to recommend optimal vascular access solutions

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1-3 years related work experience required

Qualifications

  • License Registered Nurse required
  • American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Certificate required

  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including those with adverse environmental conditions, infectious diseases, and bloodborne pathogens
  • Ability to perform medium work tasks, including standing, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Pay

$38.00 - $98.19 per hour

Schedule

Day/Night rotating schedule with 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights, and every 3rd weekend. Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
