About the role

The Nurse Helpline is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate and professional support to families navigating complex healthcare situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and informational support to families over the phone
• Assist with accessing community resources and services
• Offer guidance on insurance coverage and billing issues
• Handle escalated cases and refer to appropriate departments within Cincinnati Children's

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

• Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare systems and policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills
