Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Intermediate Care (IMC) Telemetry
MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is only considering experienced RNs for this Intermediate Care (IMC) / Telemetry Registered Nurse role.
About the role
Join our 48-bed IMC/Medical-Surgical unit where nurses are cross-trained to care for both telemetry and IMC patients, including those requiring chronic ventilator management and insulin drips. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced acute care RNs looking to build their skills and transition into higher-acuity nursing. Our Charge RNs are out of the numbers, allowing them to provide hands-on support, mentorship, and clinical guidance throughout each shift. You'll work alongside a collaborative team with experienced leadership while enjoying flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
- Assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
- Deliver interventions directly or coordinate through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.
Requirements
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN license required.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.

Pay
This position has a hiring range of USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 per hour.
