The job involves providing professional nursing services for patients and their families/facility. Collaboration with other healthcare providers and team members is essential to achieve desired patient outcomes and enhance the care environment.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process and evidence-based practice to coordinate and provide direct care and services that support care.
• Supports peers in the delivery of patient care, uses and models appropriate team communication methods, and documents care reflecting patient conditions and priorities.
• Provides support to team problem-solving, identifies opportunities for personal growth, and contributes to the development of other learners.
• Supports a safe unit environment and operations by interpreting policies and procedures, sharing new evidence with peers, adhering to practice and policy standards, and supporting care efficiency.
• Identifies potential problems and demonstrates enhanced critical decision-making and conflict management skills, participating in educational activities that support evidence-based care and outcomes.

Requirements

• Mother/Baby RN experience required.
• Minimum recent 2 years RN expertise in an acute care setting.
• BS in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification (preferred).

Pay

RN III is paid between $41.92 and $54.44 per hour, with individual salaries determined by factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
