FirstSteps for Kids, Inc. · Walnut Creek, CA · 3 wk ago
On-siteOTHR$26–$28/hrFull-time

About the role

FirstSteps Team is inspired by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. To that end, our mission is twofold: to provide the best evidence-based, behavior analytic treatment to our children diagnosed with autism and related learning differences, and to offer a positive, collaborative, and dynamic work experience for our team. We are steadfastly committed to ongoing training and mentorship of our employees, always motivated to support the next generation of clinical leaders in our field and at FirstSteps. Our greatest reward is witnessing the rapid and joyful learning of our little ones and knowing that together, we are creating more happy days for the kids and families we serve.

You're already an experienced RBT. Now, what's next? At FirstSteps for Kids, we give experienced Instructors the opportunity to deepen their clinical skills, take on more responsibility, and build toward a long-term career in ABA. You'll work directly alongside experienced, in-person BCBAs who know your learners, observe your work, provide real-time coaching, and help you continue developing as a clinician. This is more than another RBT job: build clinical skills by working on individualized treatment plans and learning how to think through clinical challenges with BCBA support; build leadership skills by mentoring new Instructors through Behavior Skills Training; build toward BCBA with supervision opportunities for eligible graduate students; and build lasting relationships by working closely with children and families across centers, homes, and community settings.
