Experienced Quantitative Investing Recruiter
About the role
The Experienced Modeling & Trading Recruiting team at Two Sigma is seeking recruiters who can help identify and attract top talent in quantitative research, trading, and engineering. This role involves owning the full-cycle recruitment process, establishing consultative relationships with HR Business Partners, and partnering with Hiring Managers to develop effective candidate assessment frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process to meet hiring goals, including sourcing and research strategies to identify high-potential Quantitative Researchers, Traders, and Data Scientists for Two Sigma's immediate and long-term needs.
- Establish consultative relationships with HR Business Partners and leaders across our businesses, developing a deep understanding of their strategic objectives and hiring needs.
- Possess the ability to partner with Hiring Managers to develop effective candidate assessment frameworks, including facilitating interviews and leading calibration and hiring discussions.
- Drive the offer process, including preparing offer packets for review and approval, presenting offers, and developing effective close strategies.
- Track and analyze metrics to provide data-driven insights to partners across the organization and within the HR team.
- Represent Two Sigma and the recruiting team, both internally and externally.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional, ad-hoc projects as needed and assigned.
- Build and nurture relationships with external search firms to identify talent directly in the Quantitative Trading and Research or Engineering space.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record
- Minimum 5 years of experience required; strong preference for at least 7 years of experience in a recruiting role, specifically with identifying and attracting top talent candidates, and leading candidates throughout the interview and offer process
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to work independently and solve problems creatively
- A passion for cultivating an effective, engaged, and diverse workforce
- Proven experience in quantitative finance recruiting is preferred

Pay
The base pay for this role will be between $100,000 and $200,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
